My name is Nikki and I'm glad you found me!

 About Me

I am a wedding and event planner based in Austin, Texas, but will forever be a southern California girl at heart. I have been in the event planning industry for over 10 years and began coordinating weddings for friends not long after graduating from college. When I moved to Austin from San Diego in 2018, I realized that I could turn my passion for event planning and wedding coordinating into a business - Nikki Hsueh Events! (It's pronounced 'shweh'.) :D

Since formally launching my business in 2020, I have planned and coordinated weddings in Texas, California, even Hawaii, and I dream of working with couples around the world someday!

It is exciting to be making a career out of a profession that utilizes my strengths of organization, eye for creativity, and attention to detail. Color coded spreadsheets are my jam. Making to-do lists and then crossing things off of those lists brings me pure joy. Creating a timeline and then watching it come to life? Love it. And there is nothing more satisfying than carefully arranging and placing the finishing touches of that very last centerpiece.

But it's more than just lists and timelines. I love that weddings and events bring people together to make memories that will last a lifetime and to celebrate the special moments, big or small. Most importantly, I get to meet YOU. Without a doubt, my favorite part of the planning process is partnering with you to create the perfect event that reflects your unique personality. Nikki is very good at her job. She was our day-of coordinator and was easily accessible through text and email during the months leading up to the wedding. She was the liaison between myself and the vendors which was extremely helpful because I only had to text Nikki if I needed to communicate anything to them. She organized all the vendor contracts and documents and was available for phone calls or meetings whenever I asked for them. She took care of all the reception set-up using the instructions I provided her. The wedding day went seamlessly for us and she never bothered us about anything so if something had gone wrong we had no clue and just enjoyed our day. She even had a sewing kit on hand when my husband ripped his pants! I would absolutely recommend Nikki because of her professionalism and kindness. She was so easy to work with.
